2026 Asia Biotech Expo affirms Taiwan's innovative capabilities in biotechnology and showcasing its comprehensive industrial strength from R&D and clinical trials to international expansion.
2026 BIO Asia-Taiwan Exhibition introduced about Taiwan's latest achievements in biotechnology, precision health, clinical translation, smart healthcare, technology research and development, and the international layout of the biomedical industry. This year's BIO Asia-Taiwan Exhibition, themed "Asian Inspiration, Global Impact" brings together 22 countries. 900 companies, and 2.300 booths, covering the entire biotechnology industry chain, including new drug development, CDMO, biotechnology services, precision medicine, regenerative medicine, smart healthcare, and pharmaceutical equipment. The event shared the information about the government's "Healthy Taiwan" policy, achievements in medical care, disease prevention, and the strengthening of the public health system. Following this, the academic and research institutions such as China Medical University, Taipei Medical University, and the Biomedical Translational Research Center of Academia Sinica, show their strengths of Taiwan's comprehensive RBLD capabilities, from basic research and medical education to Al-driven drug development clinical trials, and biomedical translation. The clinical trial alliance, the integration of Al into new drug development, and translation platforms that facilitate the connection between research findings and clinical applications and commercialization fully demonstrated Taiwan's continuous efforts to enhance its international competitiveness in medical innovation and biomedical RBLD.
